The Frozen Turkey Ride

Folks it's time to start thinking about the 3rd Annual Frozen Turkey Ride.

By the looks of this weeks weather forecast you might not need every piece of clothing you own to keep warm like last year. 2010 Frozen Turkey.  35F for a low is so much warmer than 7F.

Rumor has it that even with the weekend's rain, the Orem/Timp Foothill trails will be primed and ready for some pre-Thanksgiving trail riding.

2009 Frozen Turkey

We have increase our numbers every year from 2 in 2009 to 4 in 2010.  Will you be number 5, 6, or even 7 this year.

So who is in for this year?

Meet at the Gun Range parking lot in Orem above the Orem Cemetery at 7:45am. This way you can still ride and get home to help the wife and family for the afternoon Thanksgiving Festivities.

Will it be cold? Yes dress appropriately.

Will it be muddy/snowy? Possibly, but most likely good fast frozen dirt.

Will it be worth it? Of course. Isn't riding your bike always worth it. And you burn calories.

Believe me, your Thanksgiving Holiday will be more enjoyable by starting it with a ride.

Rode some of the foothills this afternoon. Mostly dry with just a few spots of mud.
