The Frozen Turkey Ride wasn't too frozen this year. In fact the weather was perfect to ride with arm/knee warmers and a vest. I was very surprised and of course packed all my cold weather gear just in case.
Once again we increase our numbers and had a total of 5 riders, which is a far cry from the hundreds of riders come of the California Turkey Trot MTB Rides can bring out Thanksgiving morning.
We rode Betty and turned on Crank. Here two of the group were not feeling good and we parted directions. Crank to Ireland. Dropped into the Race Course and climbed out. And we finished with a Betty to Roller Coaster.
The dirt was nice and it was good to ride with a long time friend of mine Darryl from High School.
I forgot to bring my helmet so I was not able wear the helmet camera. I had to ride the trail "Chucky Style," with just a cycling cap. At least is wasn't my shoes this time.
I was able to catch a bit of the ride with my iPhone.
