Diamond Fork - The Climb

Diamond Fork is one of my most favorite places to ride in the fall.  The trails are covered with a carpet of leaves, that beg you to ride the trail harder and faster.

My first complete Strawberry Ridge loop this fall (see below)

was early September 3rd.  Since that time I have enjoyed many a morning sunrise along the Strawberry Ridge.

I don't know of too many trails around that allow you to continuously climb for around 1:30 like the climb up Second Water/Cottonwood Creek.

Rarely do I get to see the climb up to the ridge in daylight since I usually ride it in the dark with my lights.  But circumstances worked out a couple weeks ago and Dan Z. and I hit the trail at record pace on Single Speeds.

If you have ever wondered about the trail and what it is like, wonder no more.
