Two years ago we found a little gem of a trail nestled in the little town of Arnold, California. Of course we discovered the trail on the eve of our departure. The trail was a perfect set of new smooth and wooded single track. Because of daylight we were not able to finish the trail. Excited from the ride, but disappointed to not finish, I knew the trail required more exploring.
Well this year was the year to ride the whole trail. It took me two tries to get it right. In the middle of the trail there is a spider web section of trails in all sorts of directions labeled with numbered posts. In the video below we actually turned off of the main trail. Don't get me wrong the offshoot off the main trail was a nice little downhill that we enjoyed very much. One my second attempt I stayed on the main trail and finished the ride. Now that I know where the trail ends up, next year I will have to ride all the spiderweb sections of trails.
The Arnold Rim Trail is a point to point trail going from Arnold, CA to Avery, CA. I believe the trail was around 11-12 miles in length.
Enjoy! The rider is my friend John from California. He will be here in a week to sample some of our trails.
