Great ride in Payson Canyon this morning. We rode the Sheepherders (Trail 99) backwards from Santaquin Canyon Meadow back towards Pete Winward. Although I have ridden it countless times the other way, the trail felt like a brand new trail. Very nice and flowing.
But over the last couple rides I have donated some things to the trails. I have lost half of my Topeak Alien multi tool and my mini pump. (The pump I had for almost 20 years. I won a Zefal mini pump at a raffle from the Fish Lake Fat Tire Festival back in the 90s)
So I need to get some replacements.
Here is where you can help.
What multi tool would you suggest?
and
What mini pump would you suggest?

The Topeak Hexus minitool has served me well. A bit more compact but has all the tools I want.
I've been through several bad pumps - the common problem is they don't activate the valve stem, very annoying out on the trail. My first Specialized pump was great, but the 2nd Specialized pump was junk.
Alex turned me on to the Topeak Morph pumps. I have a Mountain Morph and love it. The short hose makes it a mini floor pump - way better. And it's tough, has lasted 3 years with no problems. It is big but I figure if I'm going to carry a pump it should be a good one. If you want smaller look at the Mine Morph.
crank bros multi 17 - all the tools you need without the tools that you don't.
silca no. 160 mini pump - tiny, servicebale, and silca.
I've been using the Topeak Peakini II Master Blaster for a few years now. Pretty light & never had a problem with it. Only use it when I've got my camelbak. Use CO2 more often now. I love my new Blackburn Toolmanator 2, compact & light. Has most commonly used tools, nothing extra to weigh you down. Used a CB multi-17 for years but after TrueGrit50, it was all rusty and it's always been heavy.
