We had a few takers on Jesse's invitation to come ride mountain bikes in Payson Canyon Saturday morning. Atomic Miles and Kanyon Kris came down to ride. Jesse and I decided to ride a few more miles and rode up the canyon to the Bennie Creek Trail head where we all met. No bear sightings this morning. Just nice South County Singletrack.
We all had different time agendas for the day and ended up riding together and alone. Jesse was the winner of the day logging 55+ miles! I ended up with 33.7 miles and 4180 feet of climbing with a max speed of 54.5 mph coming down the canyon.
I didn't carry the ContourHD, but I managed (and Miles) to get a little video with the iPhone.

Did that flower stay on your shoe the whole ride?
That was a fantastic ride. Would have been nice if you guys could have joined me on Blackhawk, it was good. I hope you at least went down Bennie, or did you have to rush home?
KK - Great ride. No the flower came out during my 50+mph decent down the canyon. I missed Bennie Creek and just rode Jones Ranch down to the pavement and out. Had to get home.
