Last MTB Ride of 2009

As many of you may be aware, Old Man Winter is upon us. I don't think I can see more than a couple hundred feet with the snow falling and blowing around. And to make matter worse it is only 16F outside. Winter is here so time to switch gears.

We did enjoy some wonderful Fall riding this year. Lunch rides definitely were the place to be this Fall. Plenty of times we had 12-15 guys riding. I can't think of a better way to spend you lunch time.

Here is a very poor video of last week's possible year ending ride. This is part of the climb on Dragon's Back.

No what I am I going to do for lunch?

I've already resorted to eating out with my non-biking coworkers at lunch. Maria Bonita today. I could feel the fitness leaving the body with every bite.

Friday’s ride was epic. I’m glad the pleasant weathered lunch rides went out like that. Until next season, the lunch rides may be a little less frequent and a bit more uncomfortable. Nevertheless, I still prefer them over the catered working lunch meeting I had today. I feel like I gained five pounds from the delicious food plus another five pounds I retained as a result of not getting out today. Rollin’ has officially taken on its alternative meaning.
